Privacy Policy

Nimbletoad, Inc. ("Nimbletoad," "we," "us") is a digital marketing agency in Carlsbad, California. This policy explains what information we collect on nimbletoad.com, which companies receive it, why, and the choices you have. It covers only nimbletoad.com. Websites we build or manage for clients are operated by those clients under their own privacy policies.

The short version

  • We collect what you give us (forms, chat, email) and standard analytics about how the site is used.
  • Named third-party services process some of that data on our behalf. Every one of them is listed below. There are no unlisted trackers.
  • We do not sell your personal information for money. Some advertising cookies may count as "sharing" under California law; you can opt out below, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals.
  • Our chat widget is answered by people, not AI, and chat messages are transmitted to and stored by our chat and CRM provider, HighLevel. That is disclosed here and in the widget itself.

What we collect

Information you provide. When you use our contact forms, chat widget, schedule a call, or email us, we receive what you send: typically your name, email address, phone number, company, and your message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we receive standard technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring site, and date and time of visits, collected through the analytics services named below.

The services we use, by name

These are the third parties that receive data when you use nimbletoad.com, what they receive, and why. Each link goes to that vendor's own privacy policy.

  • HighLevel, Inc. (LeadConnector) — chat widget and CRM.Messages you send through our chat widget, and contact details you submit, are transmitted to and stored on HighLevel's servers, where our team reads and answers them. Our chat is answered by humans; we do not use AI to read or respond to chat messages. Please don't share sensitive personal, financial, or health information in chat.   • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — site analytics. Usage data such as pages visited, session duration, approximate location, and device type, used so we can understand how the site is used. Google privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
  • Google Ads remarketing (Google LLC) — advertising.Cookies that let us show ads to prior visitors on Google and its display network. This is the one service on this list that may constitute "sharing" under California law; the opt-out below turns it off for you. Ad settings: adssettings.google.com
  • Google Tag Manager (Google LLC) — tag delivery. The container that loads the services above. It delivers tags and does not itself build advertising profiles.
  • Vercel, Inc. — website hosting.Our site runs on Vercel's infrastructure, which processes standard server logs, including IP addresses, to serve pages and prevent abuse. Vercel privacy policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy

If we add a service that touches personal data, we will name it here before it goes live.

The chat widget, specifically

Our chat is live chat, answered by people at Nimbletoad during business hours. Messages are transmitted over the internet to HighLevel, our chat and CRM vendor, and stored there so we can respond and keep a record of the conversation. By sending a chat message you consent to that transmission and storage. If you would rather not have your message pass through a third-party processor, email us directly at hello@nimbletoad.com.

How we use information

  • To respond to you and provide services you ask about.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the website.
  • To advertise to prior site visitors, unless you opt out.
  • We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not sell it for money.

Your choices and rights

Opt out of advertising cookies ("sharing").Email hello@nimbletoad.com with the subject "Privacy choices" and we will exclude you from remarketing, or use Google's ad settings directly. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out of sharing.

Access, correction, deletion.Whether or not California's CCPA/CPRA technically applies to a business our size, we extend its core rights to everyone: ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at hello@nimbletoad.com. We will respond within 30 days and will not treat you differently for asking.

Cookies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time. The site works without them, apart from remembering preferences.

Retention and security

We keep contact records and chat transcripts for as long as we have a business relationship with you or as needed for legal and accounting purposes, then delete them. We use commercially reasonable safeguards, and our vendors publish their own security practices, but no internet transmission is perfectly secure.

Children

This site is a business-to-business site and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Client websites

Nimbletoad builds and maintains websites for clients. Those sites are operated by our clients under their own privacy policies, and this policy does not apply to them.

Changes

When this policy changes, we will update the effective date at the top and, for material changes, note what changed. Continued use of the site does not substitute for the specific consents described above.
